Today, the MFDC has done the election of the position of the board of directors and the commissions.
The new elected president is Michele Barbone, Italian, from Bari.
Michele Barbone, who was elected as Mediterranean Flying Disc Federation (MFDC) President recently, served within CONI for over a decade and presided over several National Federations in Italy, namely the Dance Sport and E-Sport Federations, and serving in other leadership capacities within the CONI and the sport of Orienteering.
Michele Barbone has always dedicated himself to the world of sports, at first as a sports club manager, then as a federal executive, and most recently as an executive of the Italian Olympic Committee. WFDF appointed also Michele Barbone as Director of NOC relations.
As Secretary General has been elected Marco Tomasini, Italian, working and proposed as general secretary by the Maltese member.
Marco Tomasini is board of director of TAFISA, Secretary General of the Maltese member of WFDF and he was board member of EFDF.
Stavri Bello is elected as Board Member CIJM relationship officer. Mr Bello is an historical sport administrator, working in the EOC, CIJM, NOC of Albania.
