SPORT FOR ALL UNIT

We are an international multi-sports organisation which has been founded 1913 in Ghent/Belgium and is based on the historic ideas of the international labour movement. Nowadays our main activities are organizing international Sport for All events - open for amateur sportspeople of all ages, genders and origins. But our events are much more than justs sports. They are festivals of friendship, cultural exchange, tolerance, respect, sustainability & fair play. We are proud to welcome CSIT members, non-member organisations, partners, governmental bodies, trade unions and all kind of businesses!
Within the world of international sport, the CSIT maintains its support for everyone to benefit from sporting activities regardless of their qualifications, talent, nationality, age, sex and social circumstances.

TAFISA

The TAFISA Games are a spectacular event that brings together color, dance, games, culture and promotes peace, friendship and lots of fun. This event offers a unique experience of discovery, because the different delegations, coming from all over the world, demonstrate their traditional and modern games and sports. The TAFISA Games typically attract up to 50.000 participants and visitors from up to 100 countries, and are sponsored by the International Olympic Committee and UNESCO. The TAFISA Games is a week-long spectacular display of colour, dance, sports, culture, peace, friendship and fun. The Games festival offers a voyage of discovery around the globe, as delegations from every corner of the world showcase their Traditional Sports and Games (TSG), as well as unique and interesting modern sports (extreme, beach and new sports are just some examples).
